TURNER, CARL ALLEN

Died at 2:12 a.m. Friday, April 2, 1993, at his daughter's residence in Glenmora. He was 71 and a native of Oakdale. He was a former Oakdale School bus driver and a member of Carpenter's Local 1098. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. Visiting at Rush Funeral Home, Oakdale, 10 a.m. to 2:45 p.m. Saturday. Religious services at Trinity Baptist Church, Oakdale, at 3 p.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Bob Wallace. Burial in Pryer [sic Cryer] Cemetery.

Survived by a son, Gary Allen Turner, Baton Rouge; two daughters, Jennifer Ellen Russell, Cleveland, Tenn., and Judy Anne Snyder, Glenmora; three brothers, L.J. ``Jack'' Turner and Alton Turner, both of Sulphur, and R.L. Turner, Oakdale; three sisters, Aline Tucker, Baytown, Texas, Margie Nell O'Banion, Oakdale, and Yvonne Strange, Angleton, Texas; eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.

He was a member of Trinity Baptist Church, Oakdale.
