Carl David Dunn
BATON ROUGE -- Services for Carl David “Possom” Dunn will be at 10 a.m. Monday in First Baptist with the Rev. Jerry Ratcliff officiating. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m. Monday in Greenwood Memorial Park, Pineville, under the direction of Welsh.
Dunn, 54, of Baton Rouge died at 1 p.m. Friday in Our Lady of The Lake Regional Medical Center.
He was a member of First Baptist Church, the World Pageant Association and the National Baton Twirling Association. He was the founder and president of International Productions and Publications Inc. and the Cinderella Scholarship Pageant and Pageantry Magazine for the past 15 years. He was affiliated with the pageant industry for over 30 years. He has been credited with establishing the “International Beauty Pageant Hall of Fame.”
Survivors include two brothers, George Dewey Dunn of Nashville, Tenn., and Charles Dunn of Orlando, Fla.
Pallbearers will be Jed Campbell, Carl Ray Dunn, Dr. James Dunn, John Dunn, David Gregory and David Stickley.
