Carl Roberson Dies Monday

Carl C. Roberson. 53, of Tallulah, died Monday in a Shreveport hospital after a brief illness.

Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the Crothers Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Crawford Williams and Dale Wilson officiating. Burial followed in the Silver Cross Cemetery.

Mr. Roberson was a native of Winn Parish and had been a resident of Madison Parish for the past 40 years. He was employed by the Madison Parish School Board as a mechanic.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Maxine Roberson of Tallulah, two sons; Eddie Roberson of Vicksburg, Miss, and Dennis Roberson of Tallulah; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Toning and Mrs. Barbara McCarty both of Tallulah; his mother, Mrs. W. E. Roberson of Tallulah, one brother, Garland Roberson of Tallulah; four sisters, Mrs. Cora Mae Reeves, Mrs. Gloria Bradley, Mrs. Faye Harmon and Mrs. Louise Cox, all of Tallulah; and five grandchildren.

Pallbearers were Red Netherland, Roy Erwin, Bilbo Sullivan, M. C. Stone, Jack Bowden.
