Carlene H. Terrell
Carlene Hughey Terrell, 78, of Liberty, passed away Dec. 14, 2016, at Liberty Community Living Center.
Visitation is 9 a.m. Friday at Brown Funeral Home in Liberty until services there are 11. The Rev. Shane Pourciau will officiate. Burial will be in Terrell Cemetery near Liberty.
She was born Aug. 27, 1938, in Amite County, the daughter of Carl and Doris Nunnery Hughey.
She graduated from Liberty High School in 1956 and married Robbie Maurice Terrell, also of Liberty, that same year. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robbie Maurice Terrell.
Survivors include her sons, Alan (Delane) Terrell of Crosby, and Andy (Chris) Terrell of Summit; three granddaughters, Ellen (Jesse) Golden of Hoover, Ala., Katie (Robert) Thomas of Philadelphia, Miss., and Kelli-Anne Terrell of Ridgeland; a great-grandson, Thomas Alan Golden of Hoover; a sister, Jo Ann (Ronald) Price of Waggaman, La.; a brother, James Hughey of Liberty, a nephew, Dale Price; two brothers-in-law, Hoyt (Sharon) Terrell and Carl (Sandra) Terrell, all of Liberty.
Pallbearers are Carl Terrell, Will Terrell, Dale Causey, Danny Edwards, Lane Boler, Don Tumey, Robert Thomas and Jesse Golden.
The family would like to thank the staff of Liberty Community Living Center and Camilla Hospice for their care.
The family requests that memorials be made to Liberty United Methodist Church.
