Carlie Ray Folden
(March 8, 1933 - November 25, 2011)

Carlie Ray Folden, age 78 of Winnfield, passed away on Friday, November 25th 2011 at Rapides Regional Medical Center in Alexandria, La 71483.

Mr. Folden retired from the Water Department for the City of Winnfield

He was the son of the late Guy Folden and the late Leona Rolen Folden. He was also preceded in death by his wife Marilyn Shows Folden, grandson John Folden, brother Dave Folden, and two sisters Christine Speed and Etoil Alford.

Mr. Folden is survived by his loving and devoted family including four sons Hank Folden and wife Deborah, Marvin Folden and wife Ruth, Jimmy Folden and wife Becky, all of Winnfield, and Thomas ``Harry'' Folden and wife Shirley Marthaville, La., one daughter Brenda Wright of Winnfield and four brothers John ``Dude'' Folden of Brightington, TN, Morris Folden of Cecelia, KY, Jack Folden of Joyce, LA and Louie Folden of Winnfield, sisters Pauline Roberson of Winnfield and Barbara Haworth of Wyatt, La

Mr. Folden also leaves to cherish his memory sixteen grandchildren and twenty five great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, friends and other relatives.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m., Monday, November 28th in the Southern Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Deloy Shows and James Holbrook officiating. Interment will follow in the Corinth Cemetery in the Jordan Hill Community under the direction of Southern Funeral Home of Winnfield.

Friends may visit with the family in the funeral home on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Monday from 8:00 a.m. until time of services.

Pallbearers will be Ray Folden, Donnie Folden, Jamie Folden, Christopher Folden, Clint Snelling, Robert ``Red'' Snelling, Darren Snelling, Robert Wright.

Honorary pallbearers include Josh Snelling, Robert Wright, Landon Right, Jacob Parker, Andrew Parker, Casey Creel, Mason Snelling, Nate Folden, Darren Snelling II, and Bradley Folden.
