Carmen W. Givens

Graveside services for Mrs. Carmen W. Givens will be held at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Feb. 19, 2003. Burial will be in Alexandria Memorial Gardens, under the direction of Hixson Brothers, Alexandria.

Mrs. Givens, 80, of Cheneyville, died Sunday, Feb. 16, 2003, in Lake Charles Memorial Hospital. She was a member of United Methodist Church, Cheneyville and a graduate of Oak Hill High School and attended Northwestern State University, Natchitoches.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Harry Tanner and his wife Lorene of Sulphur, James C. Tanner of Memphis, Tenn.; stepsons, John Dale Givens of Baton Rouge, Randy Givens of Texas, and Danny Givens of Ball; five grandchildren; seven step-grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three step-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call Tuesday at Hixson Brothers, Alexandria from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m.
