Miss Carolyn Lee Jones

Shreveport - Graveside services for Miss Carolyn Lee Jones, 59, of Shreveport, will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday June 30 at Forest Park Cemetery under the direction of Rose-Neath's Marshall Street Chapel. Dr. David Rakes, assistant pastor of Broadmoor Baptist Church, where Miss Jones was a member, will officiate.

Miss Jones, a lifelong resident of Shreveport, died Thursday June 28, 1990, after a long illness. She was a retired school teacher and a volunteer worker at L.S.U. Medical Center for many years. Miss Jones was born in Shreveport.

She is preceded in death by her parents Everett and Faye Jones.

She is survived by her cousins, Mrs. Peggy Murphy, Mr. E.C. Thompson, Mr. Robert Grafton, Mrs. Kay Merritt, all of Shreveport, Mr. J.R. Slay of Baton Rouge, La.

In lieu of flowers family suggests memorials be made to the Broadmoor Baptist Church.
