Mrs. Carrie Freeman Buried On Tuesday

BROOKHAVEN -- Services for Mrs. Carrie Higgins [sic Kiggins] Freeman were held Tuesday afternoon at 3 o'clock at the Bude Baptist church. Rev. Otis Jones and Rev. Haire officiated. Burial was at the Coldwater cemetery.

Mrs. Freeman died very suddenly of a heart attack Monday at her home in Bude. She was 58 and a member of Bude Baptist church.

Survivors are her husband, S. H. Freeman, two sons, Bobby John of the U.S. Air Force and Clarence of Bude, a brother Johnny H. Higgins [sic Kiggins] of McCloud, Texas and a sister, Katherine Beaty, of New Orleans.

Hartman Funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
