Mr. Reeves was born on March 30, 1938 in Montgomery, LA, and passed away on September 27, 2013 in West Monroe, LA. He was a member of the Christ Church in West Monroe, LA. Mr. Reeves was an avid gun collector, coin collector and was a Cowboy at Heart.

David Reeves could be described as tenacious, persistent, relentless and, well, loud! But his family would say that all those words also describe how he loved--loud, expressively, tenaciously and relentlessly. His heart was so big and full of life and spirit, no wonder it was the first part of him to wear out. But his spirit was strong to the last moment. His joyful, positive personality never weakened or wavered. He will be so sorely missed, but oh how he is lighting up heaven now.

Survivors include his wife, Sandy Reeves; son, Dave Reeves and wife, Ann; daughters, Trish Nadler and husband, Chris and Krista Harris and husband, Richard; grandchildren, Anna Claire Nadler, Jacob Nadler, Spc.
