Services for Carroll Dean Hanes will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at the Inola Funeral Home Chapel. Pastor Larry McDonald will officiate. Burial will follow 1:00 p.m. December 26, 2006 at the Tipton Cemetery, (Tipton, Oklahoma) under the direction of the Inola Funeral Home and Crematory.

Carroll Dean Hanes, 68, of Catoosa. Passed away Dec. 22, 2006.

Born to Carroll and Juanita Hanes in Ft. Cobb, Carroll spent his early years living in the Tipton, OK, area. He graduated from Lang School and continued his education at Cameron Jr. College, Lawton, for a short time. In his life he mastered many things, a few being a diesel truck sales rep., then becoming an owner/operator of his own truck. His time was spent on mechanics of his own cars and trucks, his last project being his rail dragster.

Survivors include Mary, his wife and companion of 34 years, brother, Larry Hanes of Tipton, sister, Susie Miller of Houston, TX, daughter, Teri Williams and husband, Mark of Irving, TX, step-daughter, Karan Clark of Catoosa, granddaughters, Ashley and Amber Williams of Irving, TX, and Jaci Crow of Catoosa. Carroll will be missed and forever loved by all of his ``buddies'' that he spent time with.
