CARYL S. MANLEY

CARYL S. MANLEY, 84, died at home in Upland, CA., Dec. 30, 2011. Born April 15, 1927, she lived in the Cleveland area until moving to California in 1970. Caryl graduated from Cleveland Heights High (1945) and Huron Nursing School.

She is survived by three children she raised in Willowick, Loretta (Lorie) Tucker (Randy) of Mililani, HI., Mark (Janet) Manley of San Dimas, CA., and Scott Manley of Fair Oaks, CA.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Caryl was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Orville Manley (2005); and three grandchildren.

Prior to moving to California in 1970, Caryl was an active nurse, volunteer and member of Tam-a-rac Country Club in Mentor. While living in Ohio, she administered polio vaccines, was a campfire leader and supported many school programs. In Claremont, CA., she spent much of her time collecting and selling antiques and volunteering for Ability First. A loving mother and friend, Caryl believed it important to mark life's milestones, and as such rarely missed a celebration.

She was interned [sic interred] at Oak Park Cemetery, 410 S. Sycamore, Claremont, CA., on Jan. 6, 2012.

Caryl Manley
April 15, 1927 - December 30, 2011

Caryl Manley, 84, died at home in Upland California. She moved from the Cleveland area to Claremont, California in 1970. Caryl graduated from Cleveland Heights High (1945), and Huron Nursing School.

She is survived by three children; Loretta (Lorie) Tucker (Randy) of Mililani HI, Mark (Janet) Manley of San Dimas, and Scott Manley of Fair Oaks, CA; four grandchildren Todd (Kim) Tucker, Erin Blackman (Adam), and Bret and Michael Manley; and three great grand children.

Caryl was preceded in death by her husband Orville Manley (2005) and three grandchildren, Chad, Debbie and Daniel.

Caryl was an avid antique collector and volunteer. A fun mother and friend, Caryl believed marking life's milestones, and rarely missed a party.

She was interned [sic interred] at Oak Park Cemetery, Claremont, California on January 6, 2012.
