Mrs. A. J. Crain of Sikes Buried Thursday, 2 P. M.

Mrs. A. J. Crain, 78, died at her home in Sikes, April 22, 1947. Funeral services were conducted Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Sikes Baptist Church with the Rev. W. Emmons in charge. Burial was in the Sikes Cemetery.

Mrs. Crain is survived by her husband, one son, Alford Crain, of Bastrop, and one daughter, Mrs. Etta Abrams Walker of Sikes. Seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive.

MRS. A. J. CRAIN

WINNFIELD, April 26. -- (Special) -- Funeral services for Mrs. A. J. Crain, 78, of Sikes, were conducted at the Sikes Baptist church Thursday at 2 p.m. with the Rev. W. Emmons officiating. Interment was in the Sikes cemetery.

A native of Texas, Mrs. Crain was born on Feb. 14, 1869. She was a member of the Baptist church.

Surviving are her husband, A. J. Crain; a son, Alfred Crain of Bastrop; a daughter, Mrs. Etta Abrams Walker of Sikes, and seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
