Cathrine B. B. Jensen

Mrs. Cathrine Brady Biddinger Jensen, 67, 1061 E. 3rd South, wife of James C. Jensen, died Sunday at 5 a.m. in a Salt Lake hospital after a lingering illness.

She was born Dec. 22, 1880, at Jasper, Miss., a daughter of Christopher and Nancy Rayner Brady, and had been a Salt Lake City resident 25 years.

An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she accomplished her husband on an LDS mission to the southern states from 1943 to 1944. She was married to Mr. Jensen in June, 1940, in Salt Lake City.

Mrs. Jensen had owned and operated several apartment houses in Salt Lake City.

Survivors include her husband; five daughters, Mrs. Verda R. Wheeler, Alamosa, Colo.; Mrs. LaVon Allred, Richland, Wash.; Mrs. Delma McDonald, Mrs. Leo[n]a E. Freeman, and Mrs. Iona M. Harper, Salt Lake City.

She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Minnie Schofield, Salt Lake City; three brothers, Ison [sic Isom] Brady, Provo; John and Frank Brady, Manassa, Colo.; 19 grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. at 360 E. South Temple by John L. Herrick, bishop, Thirteenth LDS ward.

Friends may call at place of funeral Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday after 10 a.m.

Burial will be in Salt Lake City cemetery.

JENSEN -- Funeral services for Cathrine Brady Biddinger Jensen will be conducted Wednesday at 2 p.m. in the Larkin Mortuary chapel, 260 E. South Temple. Friends may call at the mortuary Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 10 a.m. until time of service. Interment Salt Lake City cemetery under direction of the Larkin mortuary.
