LUCAS

Mr. Cavitt Walker Lucas, 64, of 1 Keys Ct., died Tuesday night at a local hospital.

Mr. Lucas was a native of Dodson, La. and had resided in Pensacola for the past 25 years. He was a member of the Baptist Church, a retired ADC in the U.S. Navy, a veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict and a member of the Fleet Reserve Association Branch No. 22.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Eunice E. Lucas of Pensacola; one daughter, Mrs. John F. Hill of Miami; one brother, C. J. Lucas of Mansfield, La.; one sister, Mrs. F. W. McAleer of Jacksonville and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 12:30 p.m. Friday in the Fisher-Pou Chapel with Navy Chaplain Lewis E. Allred officiating. Fleet Reserve Services will be 8 p.m. Thursday in the Fisher-Pou Chapel. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Fleet Reserve Association Branch No. 22. Active pallbearers will be military personnel.

Burial will be in the Barrancas National Cemetery with Military Honors at the grave. Fisher-Pou Funeral Service will direct.
