JENKINS JR., CECIL

Died 11:55 p.m. Friday, May 5, 1989, at his residence in Baton Rouge. He was 57, and a native of Baton Rouge. He was employed by Tire Centers, Inc. and U.S. Air Force veteran.

Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., 10 a.m. to religious services at noon Monday, conducted by the Rev. Roger Green, of First Presbyterian Church and eulogy by Paul Walmsley. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

Survived by fiancee, Joy McKinnis, Baton Rouge; father, Cecil Jenkins Sr., Baton Rouge;a daughter, Arthe Jenkins, New Orleans; a son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and Susan E. Jenkins, Baton Rouge; and a grandson, John Grant Jenkins. Preceded in death by mother, Irma Jenkins.

Pallbearers will be Robert Wiemer, Paul Courrege, Charles McInnis, A.G. Gaudin, Jay Butler, and Mickey McCann.

He was a member of First Baptist Church of Baton Rouge, and former member of Metropolitan Kiwanis Club.
