Cecil Pinkston Died Sunday
Cecil M. Pinkston, aged 70, of 516 Adams Ave., S.W. died in a local hospital at 1:25 a.m. Sunday.
Mr. Pinkston was a lifelong resident of Ouachita County. He was born near Troy, December 10, 1888 the son of William T. and Mary Bradshaw Pinkston. He was a member of the Methodist Church. His wife died here in March of this year.
He is survived by one son, Captain Carlos Pinkston of Rome, New York; one daughter, Mrs. Ira Taylor of Camden; five brothers, Palmer and Dallas Pinkston of Crossett, Claude Pinkston of Stamps, Minor Pinkston of Camden, and Elmer Pinkston of Alto, Texas; and by five grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday (today) at the Fairview Methodist Church conducted by Rev. M. W. Miller, Rev. Winston Hudnall, and Rev. Duell Tanner. Burial will be in Greenwood cemetery by Proctor Funeral Home.
Nephews of Mr. Pinkston will serve as casket bearers.
