CECIL ROE
Mr. Cecil Roe, age 89 of Crockett, passed away Sunday, September 17, 2006 in the East Texas Medical Center-Crockett. Mr. Roe was born December 10, 1916 in Lovelady and had lived most of his lifetime in Lovelady. Mr. Roe was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served during World War II. Mr. Roe was owner and operator of City Cleaners in Lovelady for many years and was a member of the Lovelady Church of Christ.
Survivors include his niece Betty Brannen and husband Johnny, of Crockett; nephew Eddie Roe and wife Marie, of Willis; three great-nieces; two great-nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents Hubbard and Adeline Roe; wife Gladys Threadgill Roe; brother Willie Roe and wife Gladys; and sister Annie Mae Corder.
Graveside Funeral Services for Mr. Cecil Roe were held Tuesday, September 19, at 10:00 a.m. in the Lovelady Evergreen Cemetery with the Rev. Roger Craiker officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of choice.
