Funeral services for Cecile Jordan Wallace will be held on Saturday, February 2, 2008 at Edmonds Funeral Home Chapel in Jonesboro, LA., at 2p.m. Officiating will be Bro. Bill Moore with interment following in the Zion Hill Cemetery in Tannehill, LA. Mrs. Wallace passed away on January 29, 2008 in Vidor, TX., after a lengthy illness.
Mrs. Wallace, a homemaker was born in Tannehill, LA., on September 9, 1911. She was 96.
Survivors include
two daughters,
Peggy Sue Hatfield and husband Fred of Kerrville, TX [and]
Edwina Wolf of Vidor, TX;
two sons,
Charles Timothy Wallace of Elkhart, TX [and]
James Ted Wallace and wife Judy of Houston, TX;
six grandchildren,
numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Wallace is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Susan Jordan and her husband, George Edwin Wallace and one grandson, Justin Wallace
Pallbearers will be: Jonathan Wallace, Joe Galvan, Ted Campos, Dale Kelly, Bill Kelly and Joey Kilcomnins.
