Celia Ann Smith, 75, peacefully left us surrounded by family Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2015.
Funeral: 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Mount Olivet Chapel. Interment: Mount Olivet Cemetery.
Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Mount Olivet.
Celia Ann Smith brought light and warmth into the lives of so many. She was a caring, forgiving and selfless lady with the kindest heart. The world will feel her loss because it isn't just the loss of an amazing woman; the world is also losing the most bright and beautiful spirit. May she live on in our hearts and minds and through the stories we tell. A life like hers needs to be shared. We hope to honor her legacy and the lessons she taught us through the way we live our lives and through our compassion for others.
She was predeceased by her parents; sister, Phyllis Maughan; brother, Vance Anderson Jr.; and Mam Maw, Celia Leah Nora Griffin.
Survivors: Son, Todd Shafer; daughters, Michelle Ahrens and husband, Mike, April Morrow Grantham and husband, Johnny; grandchildren, Chelsea Breuer, Megan Shafer, Lauren Harris, Abbie Shafer, Jay Owen, Lindsay Grantham and Justin Malcik; great-grandchildren, Holly, Madi, Gracie; companion, Juan Lopez; sister, Janice Malouf; brothers, Aaron Andersen and Glenn Andersen; and her furry children, Mackey and Annie.
