CHARLES ALFORD EDDINGS
EDDINGS, CHARLES ALFORD, age 86, of Bessemer, passed away on Thursday, March 11, 2010. Mr. Eddings was a World War II, Navy Veteran, and a retiree from Alabama Gas Corporation with 36 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Eddings and is survived by his son, Ron (Janice) Eddings; three brothers, Joe Eddings, William Eddings, Marvin (Frances) Eddings; two sisters, Jenny Faye (Jim) Dupriest and Margaret Weldon; two grandchildren, Emily and Elizabeth Eddings.
Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM on March 15, 2010 at Brown Service West Chapel with burial to follow at Highland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 9:00 - 11:00 AM.
