Charles Bryan Lasyone
On October 12, 1967, Charles Bryan Lasyone entered this world a shy and inquisitive soul. Throughout the next 46 years, Bryan would make a name for himself as a kind, stubborn, generous, hard-working man. Bryan spent his free time fishing, worrying his mother, and teaching his great niece, Marissa, all about wrestling. At the age of sixteen he began his career in the logging industry, working in and around Winn Parish for thirty years. Bryan followed in his father and step-father's footsteps in his decision to work as a logger. He enjoyed his job and had the opportunity to work with many different people and experience so much in the woods that he loved so much. Bryan went to be with his Lord and Savior, following a brief illness, while surrounded by his siblings and loving parents on September 6, 2014 at Rapides Regional Medical Center. There will never be a day that passes when Bryan's witty sense of humor won't be missed. He would take any situation and use it to his advantage to make a joke. We are so blessed to know that his life, although hard at times, was full of laughter.
Bryan is welcomed into eternity by his paternal grandparents; Jewel and Rosie Lasyone, his maternal grandparents Ed and Maggie Barridge and his Uncle Burel Lasyone. He is survived by his son, Dustin Lasyone of Winnfield, La., his parents Jay and Janice Howell of Dodson, La. and Earl and Betty Lasyone also of Dodson, La., one sister, Debbie Lasyone Melton of Dodson, La., three brothers, Shannon Lasyone and wife Valorie of Dickinson, Tx., Terry Howell and wife Melissa of Danville, La., Patrick Howell and wife Kourtney of Atlanta, La, step-sisters Lessie Long of Edgemont, Ark. and Cindy Tingle of Columbia, Ms, three step-brothers, Jimmy Carter of Converse, La, Scott Carter of Converse, La, and Richy Carter of Winnfield, La. Bryan also leaves behind twelve nieces and nephews, seven great-nieces and nephews and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
