Charles Evelyn Robinson

Charles Evelyn Robinson, 70, of Laurel died Friday, June 20, 2008, at South Central Regional Medical Center in Laurel.

Funeral services will be 11:30 a.m. Monday, June 23 in the chapel of Memory Chapel Funeral Home in Laurel with burial in Lake Park Hills Cemetery. Revs. Jim Truesdell and Shane Stanford will officiate.

She was a member of First Trinity Presbyterian Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Joe (Blackie) Robinson.

She is survived by three daughters, Sherry Robinson of New York, N.Y., Tracy Robinson of Hattiesburg and Lisa Robinson Owens and her husband, Brooks, of Laurel; two grandchildren, Alexa and Avery Owens; two sisters, Anna Ezell of Walker, La., and Dianne Freeman of Mobile, Ala.

Pallbearers will be Lynn Lyon, Neil Lyon, Brian Strickland, David Ezell, Dustin Harris, and Kenny Rogers.

Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. Sunday at Memory Chapel Funeral Home, which is in charge of arrangements.
