Funeral Held For Youth Killed In Highway Crash

DELHI, Nov. 20 (Special) -- The funeral of Charles Williamson, 20, who was killed when his automobile crashed into the side of the Bayou Macon bridge on highway 80, a mile east of Delhi, Thursday, was held in the Newton Baptist Church Friday at 2:30 p.m. The Rev. W. A. Dearborn officiated and interment was in the Bush Cemetery, in charge of Mulhearn Funeral Home.

Williamson is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Williamson; a brother, Bobby Williamson; a sister, Mrs. Douglas Sheppard; his grandmother, Mrs. Sina Page [sic Paige] and his grandfather, J. J. Williamson, all of Delhi.
