Charles J. Coleman Dies at 52

Funeral services for Charles Joseph Coleman, 52, were held at 3 p.m. today at Magnolia Methodist Church.

Mr. Coleman died at 1 p.m. Monday of a sudden attack of illness while working at the Great Southern Box Co.

Born May 1, 1914 in Meridian, he had lived in Magnolia for the past 18 years.

Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Bonnie Crum Coleman, Magnolia; two daughters, Mrs. Ed Gordon, Jackson, and Miss Bonnie Jean Coleman, New York City, N.Y.; two sisters, Mrs. Hal Wheeler, Oklahoma City, Okla., Mrs. Brooks Allen, Meridian; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lamar F. Coleman, Meridian; and one granddaughter.

Rev. Wilton Holston officiated. Burial was in the Gloster cemetery. Catchings Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
