BRISTER, CHARLES MORGAN

Died Thursday, Jan. 14, 1988, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 60, a native of Alexandria and longtime resident of Baton Rouge. He was a Copolymer Rubber & Chemical Corp. employee and a member of Operating Engineers Union Local No. 216. He was a veteran of World War II. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., after 8 a.m. until religious services at 2 p.m. Saturday, conducted by the Rev. Jimmy Albritton. Burial in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Survived by wife, Pearl Lewis Brister; father, Charles Allie Brister, Alexandria; a son, Charles Phillip Brister, Baton Rouge; nine nieces and nephews; 14 great-nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by mother, Annie Laura Morgan Brister; and two sisters, Doris Brister Goodwin and Ruth B. Landry.

He was a member of Zoar Baptist Church.
