DAVIS, CHARLES MORRIS
A lifelong resident of Grangeville, he died Tuesday,
Nov. 4, 1997, at his residence. He was 57.
Visiting at Charlet Funeral Home
Inc., Zachary, 10 a.m. until religious services at 1 p.m. Thursday, conducted
by the Rev. W.S. Manchester. Interment in Grangeville Baptist Church Cemetery.
Survived by mother, Flo B. Davis, Grangeville; two sisters and
brothers-in-law, Yvonne Davis and J.F. Hartner, Clinton, and Lyndell Davis and
Ivy Reeves, Baton Rouge; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; a niece, JoYvette
Dykes and husband, John, Greenwood, Miss.; two nephews, Darryl Reeves, Baton
Rouge, and Michael Reeves and wife, Amye, Walker; three great-nephews, Jerry
Nesom and Alan Dykes, both of Green-wood, and Jonathan Reeves, Baton Rouge;
and special friend and his nurse, ``Dot'' Smith, Baton Rouge.
Preceded in death by father, J.B. Davis.
He was a member of Grangeville Baptist Church.
