Nolan

Charles O. Nolan, a retired insurance agent, died Thursday of cancer at his home. He was 82.

Mr. Nolan was born in New Orleans and lived in Mandeville for the past 15 years. He worked for Pan-American Life Insurance Co. for more than 45 years. He was an army air corps veteran of World War II. He was a member of New Covenant Presbyterian Church, past commander of Veterans of Foreign Wars post 7322, past president of the City Park Golf Club, past president of the 3rd district Kiwanis Club, past chairman of the New Orleans Golf Association and a member of Beau Chene Golf Club.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred Wilson Nolan; a daughter, Jeanette Nolan Adams-Mcneil; two sisters, Dorothy N. Pinardi and Eugenia N. McClain; and four grandchildren.

A funeral will be held today at noon at New Covenant Presbyterian Church, 4375 Louisiana 22, Mandeville. Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Burial will be in Lake Lawn Mausoleum in New Orleans.

Schoen Funeral Home in Covington is in charge of arrangements.
