Charles Ray Brand

Charles Ray Brand, 60, a resident of Albuquerque for 18 years, died Saturday, June 10, 2000.

He is survived by his wife, Bernadette Brand of Rio Rancho; sons, Michael C. Brand, W. Scott Brand, and Thomas S. Kosick, all of Albquerque; daughters, Dianne Filadelfia, Darleen S. Kosick and Lisa D. Brand, all of Albuquerque; brothers, Jack O'Pry of Sweetwater, TX, Roland Brand of Grand Junction, CO; sister, Dee Ann Seymour of Amarillo, TX; and grandchildren, Ashley, Tyler and Amanda Brand, and Brian Filadelfia.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby and Silas Brand; brothers, Bobby Jack O'Pry and Billy Tom Brand; and sister, Quita Brand.

Mr. Brand was born in Sweetwater, TX, December 11, 1939. He was raised in Amarillo and then moved to Albuquerque in 1982. Mr. Brand was an industrial pioneer. He was a very strong man with a big heart and a beautiful smile. He was a blessing to everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Memorial services will be held Wednesday, June 14, 2000, 1:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE, with Pastor John Ross officiating.
