Charles W. Puckett, City Businessman

Services for Charles W. Puckett, 58, of Alexandria will be at 2 p.m. Sunday in the chapel of Hixson Bros. with the Rev. Roger Richards officiating. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Pineville.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. today.

He died at Biloxi, Miss. Thursday.

A native of Sikes, he was new car sales manager for Turpin Pontiac Co. and a member of First Baptist Church of Pineville. He flew 72 combat missions as an Air Force pilot during WWII.

Survivors include his wife, Mae Dell Bennette [sic Bonnette] Puckett of Alexandria; a daughter, Sondra Ann Sudbury of Dallas; a brother, the Rev. James Martell Puckett of Claremore, Okla., and one grandchild.
