C. Whittington

The funeral of Charlie F. Whittington, 83, Grayson, was held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Riser and Son Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Glenn Meredith officiating.

Burial was in Cross Roads Cemetery west of Grayson.

Mr. Whittington died Sunday in his home after a brief illness.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Marie Whittington of Grayson; three daughters, Mrs. Mary Alice Hutchinson of Jonesboro, Mrs. Louise Jarrell and Mrs. Yvonne May, both of West Monroe; two son, O. C. “Pete” Whittington and Harry Whittington, both of Grayson; three sisters, Mrs. Alice Nelson of Grayson, Maggie Whittington and Emma Whittington, both of Columbia; 12 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Grandsons served as pallbearers.
