MULLINS, CHARLIE LEE

Died at 6:40 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 28, 1982, at Baker Manor Nursing Home. He was 79, a native and resident of Gloster, Miss. He was a retired carpenter.

Visiting at Brown Funeral Home, Gloster, from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday and after 8 a.m. Saturday. Religious services at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, conducted by the Rev. Otis Jackson. Burial in Union Cemetery, Gloster.

Survived by five daughters, Mrs. Doris L. Lesinski, Baker, Cathleen M. Ezell, Vicksburg, Miss., Edna E. Root, San Antonio, Texas, Mrs. Jean Ezell, New Orleans, and Sandra Watson, Slidell; a son, Charles W. Mullins, Baker; three sisters, Mrs. Roxie Williams, San Antonio, Mrs. Alice Palmer, Oklahoma City, Okla., and Mrs. Dixie Kerchel [sic Kercheval], Oklahoma City; a brother, William “Russell” Mullins, San Antonio; 11 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.

Active pallbearers will be Charles W. Mullins Jr., Gary D. Ezell, Robert S. Lesinki, Michael E. Ezell, Dewayne and James Townsend. Honorary pallbearers will be Dr. DeJohn, Dr. Fields, Dr. Causey, Dr. Brown and LPN Percy Tine.

He was a member of Carpenter's Local 1098.

Hollabaugh-Spindle Wooddale Memorial Chapel in charge of arrangements.
