C. A. Saterfiel Succumbs; Rites Held Saturday

Funeral services were held for Charlie Alexandria Saterfiel, 64, of 4452 Maryland Dr., Jackson, on Thursday afternoon, Febr[u]ary 27, at 2:00 from the Ott & Lee Chapel with the Rev. W. R. Storie, Rev. James Albert Kelly, and Rev. O. V. Swearingen, officiating. Interment was in the cemetery in Jackson, with Ott & Lee Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Saterfiel passed away in the Veterans Administration Hospital in Jackson after a short illness, on Tuesday. He was a retired Veterans Administration employee, a member of the American Legion, the Masons, and of the Poplar Springs Baptist Church.

The survivors are his wife, Mrs. Nannie Merle Kelly Saterfiel; one daughter, Mrs. Jean Usry of Jackson; one son, Charles Saterfiel of New Orleans; one sister, Mrs. Ora Butler of Brandon; and a number of nieces and nephews.

The Honorary Pallbearers were the employees of the Veterans Hospital in Jackson.
