Charlie W. Ewing

MANIFEST -- Services for Charlie William Ewing will be at 2 p.m. today in Community Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Claude Terral and Cleve Kennon officiating. Burial will be in Huffman Cemetery under direction of Kinner & Stevens, Jena.

Ewing, 84, of Manifest died at 7:40 p.m. Wednesday in St. Frances Cabrini Hospital, Alexandria.

He was a farmer and a member of Community Pentecostal Church.

Survivors include his wife, Gladys Humble Ewing of Manifest; three daughters, Geraldine Green, Lois Gordon and Marie Young, all of Manifest; three sons, Hansford Ewing, Earl Ewing and Waylon Ewing, all of Manifest; two sisters, Lily Richey of Manifest and Henrietta Richey of Pineville; one brother, Jess Ewing of Manifest; 22 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call until time of services today in the church.
