Charlotte Ann Nugent
Charlotte Ann Nugent, 69, of Little Creek, passed from this life on Saturday, July 18, 2009, at her home in Little Creek.
She was born August 18, 1939, to the union of Joe and Edith Lincecum.
Mrs. Nugent was a member of the Georgetown Pentecostal Church, loved doing needlework, and crossword puzzles. She was retired from the medical field and the LaSalle Parish Library.
Services were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, July 21, at the Georgetown Pentecostal Church with the Revs. Pete McCarty, Donnell Spurgeon, Mark Breland and Matt Robinson officiating.
Interment followed in the Lincecum Cemetery under direction of Hixson Brothers Funeral Home of Jena.
Her husband, Isaac Leon ``Bud'' Nugent; a son, Isaac Leon Nugent, Jr.; her parents; two brothers, Billy Joe Lincecum and Don Lincecum; and a sister, Bobby Jean Heitz, preceded her in death.
Survivors include four daughters, Cindy Barber and husband Mike of Little Creek, Teresa Robinson and husband David of Selma, D. D. Stamper and Vonnie Parrott, both of Georgetown; a friend, Tony Vernich of Little Rock, AR; two sons, Junior Carter and wife Essie of Keithville, and Billy Nugent and wife April of Pineville; three sisters, Bertie Nugent of Georgetown, Faye Blacksheaur of Waskom, TX and Eline Lincecum of Selma; 15 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and one special sister-in-law, Tee Lincecum.
Pallbearers were Mark Olden, Cody Barber, Nathan Stamper, Dale Parrott, Joey Parrott, and Dylan Nugent.
