Chester Lavelle Pepper, Sr.

Funeral services for Chester Lavelle Pepper, Sr. were held September 24, 2007 at Rose-Neath Southside Chapel with Bro. Tommy Allen officiating. Interment followed in Forest Park St. Vincent.

Mr. Pepper was born in Sikes, LA and passed away September 20, 2007 in Bossier City, LA. He believed in a strong family unit and instilled a good work ethic in his children. He mentored others and helped them as they were placed in his path. He worked long hours in the auto parts field for many years and became co-owner of one of the Shade Tree Auto Parts locations.

Mr. Pepper was preceded in death by Helen Stiles Pepper, his wife of 50 years; sisters, Jessie Klucarich and his twin, Esther Pepper. He is survived by his son, Lavelle Pepper, of Bossier City, LA; daughters: Sherri McIntyre, of Nashville, AR; and Rosemary Carlson and husband, James, of Arlington, TX; grandchildren, Bryan Carlson, and his wife, Jilliann, of Arlington, TX; Amanda Wyatt; great grandchild, Ava Wyatt, of Frisco, TX and sister, Essie Dees, of Shreveport, LA.
