Stroud, Christine Witt

A resident of Lafayette since 1994 and a former resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 8:57 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12, 2005, at Lafayette General Hospital. She was 87 and a native of West Monroe.

Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd., from 9 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. J. Ewing Brown. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory.

She is survived by a daughter, Melissa Stroud, Covington; two sons and daughters-in-law, Dean E. and Linda Stroud, Baton Rouge, and Mark and Charlene Stroud, Lafayette; and two grandchildren, Ryan Stroud and Cindy Stroud, both of Lafayette. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward T. Stroud.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or a charity of your choice.
