Clara Malcomb
February 14, 1923 - December 9, 2013

Funeral services for Mrs. Clara Bell Malcomb, age 90 of Grayson, LA will be held at 2 PM Wednesday, December 11, 2013 from the sanctuary of Pleasant Grove Church of God, Grayson, LA with Rev. Floyd Duchesne officiating and Rev. Aaron Ricks delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow at Old Bethel Cemetery in Clarks, LA.

Visitation will be Tuesday evening at Pleasant Grove Church of God from 5 PM until 9 PM then the church doors will be open on Wednesday morning at 8 AM until time of service.

Mrs. Malcomb was born in Columbia, LA on February 14, 1923 and passed from this life on December 9, 2013 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a loving caring mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great-grandmother, also a great friend.

She was preceded in death by her parents: J.K. And Lula Petty Newman; her loving husbands; five grandchildren; two sisters; three half sisters and two half brothers.

Left to cherish her memory: daughters: Gloria Poole and husband, Enoch of Grayson, Mary Franklin of Olla; son, Charles Johnson of Alabama. Granddaughters: Cathy and Eddie Dunn, Nancy and David Broussard and grandson, Charles Oxner. Great-grandchildren: Amber and Jeff Young, Makayla Dunn, Madalyn Oxner and Cady Oxner and great-great-grandson, Eli Young.

Pallbearers will be Mike Hogg, Mitch Bratton, Randy Hatten, Terry Pauley, Elbert Lee Pauley and Tracey Pauley. Honorary pallbearers will be Buddy Nugent, Clint Simmons and Wade Simmons.
