Funeral Pending For Mrs. Stroud

Mrs. Clara Fletcher Stroud, 73, died in St. Francis Hospital today after a brief illness.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete, but will be under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Monroe with burial in Riverview Cemetery.

Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. W. B. Awls [sic Awl], Monroe, and Mrs. B. H. Wade of West Monroe; one son, Ed T. Stroud of Baton Rouge; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Frank Bowman of Seymour, Ind., and Mrs. Dan Granger of Jackson, Miss.; one brother, Lonnie Fletcher of Forest Hill.

Mrs. Stroud was a native of Richland Parish, but had been a resident of Monroe for 40 years. She was a member of Central Baptist Church.
