TOLLEY

TOLLEY, Clara Lee, 82, of Lexington, died Monday, May 6, 1996, in the Bay State Medical Center in Springfield, Mass. Mrs. Tolley was born June 19, 1913, in Benson, N.C., a daughter of the late Jasper Lee and Rozella Johnson Lee. She was a member of the Manly Memorial Baptist Church, and a veteran of World War II, serving as a nurse in the U. S. Navy. She was the widow of Thomas B. Tolley.

Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, George A. and Carolyn Tolley of Lexington; a daughter and son-in-law, Clara L. and James Sharrard of Springfield, Mass.; two brothers, Eric Lee and Luther Lee of Benson, N.C.; two sisters, Vira Freeman and Clyde Hudson of Benson, N.C.; grandchildren, Jeremy Sharrard, Jesse Sharrard and Johana Sharrard; stepgrandchildren, Ethan Emma, Chris Emma and Lore Emma; and a number of special nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 1996, at the Harrison Funeral Chapel, with Dr. Thomas G. Harvey officiating. Burial will follow in the Stonewall Jackson Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 p.m. Thursday at the Harrison Funeral Home in Lexington.
