Clara Jenkins King

URANIA -- Services for Clara Jenkins King will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Pine Hill Baptist Church, Urania, with the Revs. Carl Rushing and Ron Bray officiating. Burial will be in Beech Creek Cemetery near Olla, under direction of Riser, Olla.

King, 96, of Olla died Saturday, June 23, 2001, in Golden Age Nursing Center, Jena.

She was born in Lucien, Miss. She was an active member of the Pine Hill Baptist Church, Urania. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Samuel D. King; one son, Samuel J. King; and her parents, Joseph and Mary Smith Jenkins.

Survivors include three sons, Jimmie J. King, Jackie D. King and Donald M. King, all of Olla; one brother, Grady Jenkins of Texas; one sister, Mazie Crain of Grayson; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be James King, Darryl King, Joey King, James Harlan, James Ray Boyd and Mark Bailey.

Friends may call from 4 p.m. today and until time of service Tuesday in the church.
