Clara Miller

Funeral services for Clara Miller, 99, of Haughton were held Sunday at the chapel of Community Memorial Funeral Home with the Rev. Neal Fryer officiating.

Interment followed at Ogden Cemetery under the direction of Community Memorial Funeral Home of Winnsboro.

Mrs. Miller died Friday, March 15, 1996 at her residence after an extended illness. She was a resident of Haughton, past native and resident of Franklin Parish, a homemaker and a member of the Methodist faith. She is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Miller.

Survivors include one daughter, Murre Welch, Haughton; one sister, Laverne Myrick, Odessa, Texas; one brother Lamony Slaughter, Slidell; also two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers were J. D. Wilson, Ronald Camp, Joe Slaughter, Mikael Welch, Webb Rogers and Pete Ferrington.
