Clarence Banks

Clarence S. Banks, 66, of Barnes Landing Road, Greenville, died in University Hospital in Jackson early today after an illness.

Funeral services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel of National Funeral Home in Greenville. The Rev. Roy Raddin will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens.

National Funeral Home has charge.

At the time of his death, Mr. Banks was employed by Greenlawn Memorial Gardens where he was cemetery superintendent for the past 14 years.

Mr. Banks leaves his wife, Mrs. Elmer Banks of Greenville; three sons, George Banks of Princeton, La., Buddy Banks of Abeliene [sic Abilene], Tex., and Edward Banks of Bossier City, La.; six daughters, Mrs. Bobbie G. Evans of Ferriday, La., Mrs. Deborah Wolking of Bossier City, and Mrs. Virginia Jacobs, Mrs. Betty Ridings, Mrs. Barbara Donald and Mrs. Ann Allen, all of Greenville; four brothers, James L. Banks of Monroe, Baz Ladell Banks of Hosston, La., Henry Banks of Bossier City, and Saville Banks of Monroe; one sister, Mrs. Lillian Carter of Greenville; and 25 grandchildren.

Pallbearers are Buddy Woods, Randolph Farve, Charles Ray Brown, Henry Clay Leach, Jerry Wayne Leach and B. B. Barnes.
