Clarence Emmons

CLEARWATER, La. -- Clarence S. Emmons, 76, died at 2:05 p.m. Wednesday at his residence here. He was a retired school bus driver for Evangeline Parish.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Lois Walker Emmons of Clearwater; two sons, Silas A. Emmons of Clearwater and Grover P. Emmons of Houston, Tex.; one daughter, Mrs. Carmen Foster of Houma; four brothers, W. M. Emmons and Daniel B. Emmons of West Monroe, Wallace Emmons of Centerville, and Homer Emmons of Lone Pine; two sisters, Mrs. Julius Stewart of Forest Hill and Mrs. Leroy Carpenter of Lone Pine, and eight grandchildren.

Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m. today in Oak Grove Baptist church with Rev. Danny Hawthorne officiating. Burial was to be in Pratt cemetery, Clearwater, under the direction of Ardoin Funeral Home, Oakdale.
