LEESVILLE -- Services for Clarence Elmer Savell will be at 2 p.m. today in the chapel of Beauregard-Vernon with the Rev. Morris Goins and Aubrey Boswell officiating. Burial will be in Prospect Cemetery, Florien.
Savell, 76, of Anacoco died Thursday in Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Pineville.
He was a logger.
Survivors include three sons, Clifton Savell of Leesville, Raymond Savell of Bloomington, Ind., and Arties [sic Artis] Savell of Anacoco; one daughter, Eloise Kramer [sic Cranmer] of Bloomington, Ind.; three brothers, Lester Savell of Florien, Henry Savell of Many and Milton Savell of Lake Charles; three sisters, Opal Cornell and Evalee Walker, both of Sabine Parish, and Eunice Gentry of Negreet; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 8:30 a.m. until time of services today in the funeral home.
