Funeral Rites For Clarence Prince Held October 1
Funeral services for Clarence Prince, 52, of Sikes, were held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 1, 1965 in the Fellowship Baptist Church near Sikes with the Rev. C. S. Martin and the Rev. Kenneth Hartsfield officiating.
Burial was in Fellowship Cemetery under direction of Southern Funeral Home.
Mr. Prince died Wednesday, September 29, 1965 in a Hodge clinic after a brief illness. He was a logging contractor.
Survivors are his widow; one son, Larry Bruce Prince; one daughter, Miss Delores Jean Prince of Sikes; three brothers, Charles Prince, Conroe, Texas, W. Ross Prince, Port Arthur, Texas, Wayne Prince, Chatham; three sisters, Mrs. Opal Wasson of North Little Rock, Ark., Mrs. Jewel Wiggins of Winnsboro, and Mrs. Loyce Arledte [sic Arledge] of Vinton.
