WHITTINGTON, CLARENCE H.

Died at 6:15 a.m. Monday at Field Hospital, Centreville, Miss. He was 69, native of Gloster, Miss., and a resident of Woodville, Miss.

Body at his residence, Woodville, until service time. Religious services at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Woodville Baptist Church, conducted by the Rev. O.B. Beverly. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery, Woodville. Berryhill Funeral Home, Woodville, in charge of arrangements.

Survived by his wife, Mrs. Iris H. Whittington, Woodville; a son, Charles W. Whittington, Vidalia; two daughters, Mrs. Frank Hartman, Covina, Calif., and Mrs. Sidney W. McGraw, Woodville; a sister, Mrs. Vera Gill, Baton Rouge; a brother, Felix Whittington, Habor City, Calif.; 11 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

He was a member of Woodville Baptist Church.
