Clarence Lamar Herrington
Clarence Lamar Herrington, 84, of the Hebron Community, died Friday, November 12, 2010 at Wesley Medical Center in Hattiesburg.
Graveside services will be held at 2 pm Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Hebron Cemetery in Jones County. Rev. Bucky Erwin will officiate.
Mr. Herrington was a retired farmer and worked for Georgia Pacific. He was a member of Hebron Baptist Church and a U. S. Navy veteran who served in World War II.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Phyllis Herrington; eleven brothers and sisters; and parents, W. P. Herrington and Ora Brewer Herrington.
Survivors include his wife, Patsy Graves Herrington of the Hebron Community; son, Randy Herrington and wife Denise of Ridgeland; daughter, Beth Ware and husband Reid of Florence, Alabama; seven grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Peyton Herrington, Michael Herrington, Andrew Herrington, Joseph Herrington, Reid Ware, III, and Daniel Root.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to the charity of your choice.
Visitation will be held from 1 pm until service time on Sunday at Hebron Baptist Church. Memory Chapel of Laurel is in charge of the arrangements.
