C. L. HILGENFELD
Clarence Lewis Hilgenfeld, 57, died at 8:45 p.m. Saturday at his home in Blanchard.
A native of Valley Falls, Kans., Mr. Hilgenfeld had been a resident of Blanchard for 15 years, living several years in Shreveport before moving to Blanchard. He was a retired pipe fitter and a deacon in the Blanchard Baptist church.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Monday at the Blanchard Baptist church with the Rev. A. C. Lawton, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in the Blanchard cemetery.
Surviving are his widow; one son, C. L. Hilgenfeld, Jr., of Blanchard; four sisters, Mrs. E. P. Lauck, of Azle, Texas, Mrs. Millard Graves, of Henrietta, Texas, Mrs. Tom Goen and Mrs. Ben Long, of Wichita Falls, Texas; four brothers, John Hilgenfeld of Cannon, Texas, Ed Hilgenfeld and H. C. Hilgenfeld, of Henrietta, Texas, and Harry Hilgenfeld, of Cobb, Okla., and one granddaughter, Carolyn Ann Hilgenfeld, of Blanchard.
Pallbearers include A. F. Soap, O. O. Bostwick, C. C. Beacham, H. S. Snyder, S. D. Simmons and Ben F. Long.
