He was born on June 20, 1922 in Bangs, Texas.
He is survived by son, David Tate; daughter, Treece Tate; grandson, Steven Mitchell Tate.
Funeral Service will be Wednesday, June 13, 2012 at 10AM at Grand View Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Grand View Memorial Park.
