BURNUM

Clarence W., age 68, 2615 W. Arkansas Lane, Arlington. Died early Monday in local hospital. Born in Cypress Springs, Louisiana. Resident of Arlington since 1947. A pioneer in aviation, he was a pilot and operated a major overhaul terminal for aircraft for many years. Member Milby Road Baptist Church.

Survived by wife, Mrs. Mary Frances Burnum; son, John Allen Burnum, Grand Prairie; daughters, Mrs. Gertrude Gartman, Mesquite, Mrs. Mary Frances Murphy, Arlington, Miss Billie Marie Foster, Fort Worth; 10 grandchildren; brothers, Ebbin Burnum, Arlington, Martin Burnum, Springfield, Oregon; sisters, Mrs. Emma Waller, Arlington.

Services 11 a.m. Wednesday. MOORE FUNERAL CHAPEL, Arlington, Rev. Ernest Kaylor and Rev. W. O. Jackson, officiating. Interment Moore Memorial Gardens.
